My Christmas Mini Sessions are back in Hobart for 2026!
This year, there are two beautiful locations to choose from - a relaxed outdoor session amongst the Christmas trees at Coal Valley Christmas Tree Farm in Richmond, or a cosy indoor session at White Cottage South in Sandy Bay.
Both are designed to be short, relaxed and full of connection, so you can walk away with beautiful photographs of your family without committing to a full family session.
And because I know not everyone wants a Christmas-themed photo, the White Cottage sessions give you the flexibility to capture both festive Christmas photographs and beautiful, timeless family photos in the same session.

CHRISTMAS TREE FARM MINI SESSIONS IN RICHMOND
Saturday 7th November 2026, Coal Valley Christmas Tree Farm
There really isn't anything quite like Christmas photos amongst actual Christmas trees.
This will be a simple, relaxed outdoor setup, allowing the beautiful tree farm to be the backdrop. Think cuddles on the bench, little ones exploring, Christmas hats, giggles and all those lovely in-between moments.
There won't be an elaborate backdrop or lots of props, just your family, the Christmas trees and that gorgeous golden light.
The Tree Farm sessions will run around sunset, making the most of that beautiful warm evening light.
Exact session times will be released when bookings open, but you can expect these sessions to fall in the late afternoon/early evening.
If your little ones are happy later in the day and you love a natural, outdoor look, this is probably the Christmas Mini for you.

INDOOR CHRISTMAS MINI SESSIONS IN HOBART
Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th November 2026, Sandy Bay
For something a little cosier and more traditional, we'll be heading inside to the beautiful White Cottage South.
The lounge room will be styled for Christmas with a warm, understated and nostalgic feel. Think Christmas trees, soft textures, presents and plenty of cosy corners for your family to settle into.
We'll capture the festive moments here, whether that's reading a Christmas story, snuggling on the couch or letting the kids have a little fun with the Christmas hats.
And if Christmas isn't really your thing, that's totally fine too. We can move through to the beautiful bedrooms for a few relaxed, more timeless family photographs, or simply incorporate a little of both.
White Cottage sessions will have morning and afternoon times available, making them a great option for families who prefer a daytime session or have little ones who aren't at their best around sunset.

WHICH SESSION IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
Held at the Coal Valley Christmas Tree Farm - choose this option if you love outdoor photographs, natural surroundings and that beautiful golden-hour Christmas feeling. It's simple, relaxed and festive, with the Christmas trees doing most of the decorating for us.
Held at White Cottage South in Sandy Bay - choose this option if you’d love a cosy Christmas setting with the flexibility to also capture some beautiful, non-Christmas family photos. With morning and afternoon sessions available, it's also a great option if sunset doesn't suit your family's routine.

White Cottage will offer morning and afternoon sessions, giving families a little more flexibility around naps, routines and bedtimes.

The White Cottage session is designed to give you a little bit of both. We'll use the Christmas-styled lounge rooms for your festive photographs, then can move into the bedrooms for a few more relaxed, timeless family photographs.
If Christmas isn't your thing, you can simply skip the Christmas styling altogether.

Absolutely. The sessions are short and relaxed, and I'll guide you through the session with prompts and activities rather than expecting little ones to sit still and pose for 15 minutes.
